entreparents Privacy Policy

INTRODUCTION

The purpose of the entreparents (“we”, “our”, “us”) privacy policy is to explain how data is collected, stored, protected, used, and shared by us when using our entreparents mobile application (“app”) and online platform (“website”).

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

Your personal data will be treated confidentially and only for the purposes for which you have given consent, or which are necessary to provide you with our services.

The Policy is fully compliant with the “General Data Protection Regulation” or “GDPR” and other applicable data protection laws, adhering to the principles of:

  • transparency,
  • purpose limitation,
  • data minimisation,
  • accuracy,
  • storage limitation,
  • integrity,
  • and accountability.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Access to the entreparents app is possible with several options you can choose from: directly, your Facebook, Apple, or Google account.

If you connect through Apple or Google, we will collect information about you from Apple or Google (as applicable), including an email address, full name, and a unique ID (which allows Apple or Google to identify you as a legitimate user of the account).

If you connect through Facebook, we will ask for the following access to information to be granted from your Facebook profile (which you can decline) (“Registration Information”) including:

  • Name;
  • Age;
  • Gender;
  • Birthday;
  • Location;
  • Photographs; and/or
  • Email address.

In addition, if you permit us to do so, the app may access your device’s geolocalisation, address book and contact lists to enable certain features of our services, and this data forms part of your Registration Information.

We also automatically collect certain information when you use the app, such as your location/GPS coordinates (if you enable this feature), a device identifier (but not the UDID), MAC address, Internet Protocol (IP) address (if using a browser), operating system, the browser type, the address of a referring site and your activity on entreparents app and website.

You can enable or disable location services when you use the app at any time, through your mobile device settings.

CONTENT DATA

You can post content on the app and/or participate in chats through it. This content may contain personal data, but only what you choose to disclose.

AGGREGATED DATA

We also collect, use and share “Aggregated Data” such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. Aggregated Data may be derived from your personal data, but once in aggregated form it will not constitute considered personal data for the purposes of the GDPR and other applicable data protection laws as this data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. However, if we combine or connect Aggregated Data with your personal data so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we treat the combined data as personal data which will be used in accordance with this Policy.

We may also automatically collect certain information through the use of “cookies”. These are small files that your browser places on your computer. We may use session cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer or mobile device until you delete them) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience on our app.

Most Internet browsers automatically accept cookies. You can instruct your browser, by editing its options, to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the websites you visit.

Where your personal data is stored

We store our data with Monaco Telecom.

How your personal data is used

We use the information collected through the app for the following purposes:

  • to provide our services or information you request,
  • to respond to your emails, submissions, questions, comments, requests, and complaints and provide customer service,
  • to monitor and analyse usage and trends, and to personalize and improve the app and your experiences when you use the entreparents app, such as providing content or features that match your profile or interests (including ads), and to increase the functionality and user friendliness of our services,
  • to send you confirmations, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages and otherwise facilitate your use of, and our administration and operation of, our services,
  • to allow you to add your location to your posts,
  • to find and connect with your friends (when instructed by you),
  • to let your friends know about your updates on the app,
  • for any other purpose for which the information was collected.

We will not share the personal information we have collected from you with 3rd parties without your consent.

Details of how information is shared is described below:

  • with your friends on the app with whom you want to share your updates, and according to the preferences set in your account;
  • with certain social networking services, if you allow such sharing through our services;
  • with service providers who are working with us in connection with the operation of our site or our services. The data shared is anonymous, aggregated data and with third party analytical platforms to help us improve the app (these service providers have access to aggregated and anonymous data to perform services on our behalf to improve the app. They are and are obligated not to disclose the data it or use it for any other purposes);
  • with service providers who are working with us in connection with the operation of our site or our services (these service providers have access to your personal information only to perform services on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose it or use it for any other purposes);
  • when you give us your consent to do so, including if we notify you that the information you provide will be shared in a particular manner and you provide such information;
  • when we believe in good faith that we are lawfully authorized or required to do so or that doing so is reasonably necessary or appropriate to comply with the law or legal processes or respond to lawful requests or legal authorities, including responding to lawful subpoenas, warrants or court orders;
  • to enforce or apply our privacy policy, our terms and conditions or our other policies or agreements in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition, or in any other situation where personal information may be disclosed or transferred as one of our business assets;
  • We are not responsible for the actions of service providers or other third parties, nor are we responsible for any additional information you provide directly to any third parties.

 

LINKS TO OTHER SITES

entreparents app may contain weblinks to other sites. Any information you provide on those sites is provided directly to the owner of that site and is subject to that party’s privacy policy. Our privacy policy does not apply to such sites, and we are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of those sites.

WHAT OTHERS SEE ABOUT YOU

entreparents app is designed to make it easier for you to connect with other Users and to interact with them. When you use the app, other Users of the app will see information which you upload to your account, including your personal data (as described below):

  • General entreparents-submitted information:
    • your Content Data;
    • photo and other images you upload;
    • first name;
    • family name;
    • location;
    • life stage;
    • data about your children;
    • data about your work place;
    • language(s) spoken.
  • Third party profile information:
    • When you register or login to the app using your Facebook account, you may authorize us to access certain Facebook account information (as applicable), including information you make available via Facebook, your profile picture(s), your friends list, current location and those friends you have in common with other entreparents users, as well as information you provide through Facebook at your option (i.e., your photos, your name, gender, age, approximate location, friends you have in common with other Users and other profile information, as applicable).
    • If you log in to the app using your Apple or Google account, other Users will be able to see your name.

These other Users may therefore share your profile information with individuals who may or may not be Users or via third-party applications. So, please be careful about what information you upload to the app and what you post, particularly when it relates to your children. We want to keep you safe, but we need you to help us.

OUR POLICY REGARDING AGE

Our app is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use the app. We don’t market to anyone under the age of 18. If we discover you’re under 18, we will delete your account, sorry but we’re looking forward to welcoming you soon!

 

HOW WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA SECURE

We have implemented appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered, or disclosed.

We limit access to your personal data to those people who have a business need to have such access. All such people are subject to a contractual duty of confidentiality.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any actual or suspected personal data breach. In the event of such a breach, we have systems in place to work with applicable regulators. Furthermore, in specific circumstances (e.g., where we are legally required to do so) we may notify you of breaches affecting your personal data.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA

We store aggregated and anonymised data to track long term app trends unless the app is requested to be deleted along with all data.

YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING PERSONAL DATA

By law you have the right to:

  • Request information about your personal data. This enables you to ask us how we have collected and used your personal information during the past 12 months. We have made this information available to you without having to request it by including it in this privacy policy.
  • Request access to your personal data. This enables you to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it.
  • Request correction of the personal data that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate information we hold about you corrected.
  • Request erasure of your personal data. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal data where there is no good reason for us to continue to process it. You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal data where you have exercised your right to object to processing (see below).
  • Object to processing of your personal data. This right exists where we are relying on a Legitimate Interest as the legal basis for our processing and there is something about your personal situation, which makes you want to object to processing on this ground. You also have the right to object to where we are processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes.
  • Request the restriction of processing of your personal data. This enables you to ask us to suspend the processing of personal data about you, for example, if you want us to establish its accuracy or the reason for processing it.
  • Request the transfer of your personal data. We will provide to you, or a third party you have chosen, personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. Note that this right only applies to automated information which you initially provided consent for us to use or where we used the information to perform a contract with you.
  • Withdraw consent. This right only exists where we are relying on consent to process your personal data (“Consent Withdrawal”). If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to provide you with access to certain specific functionalities of our a?pp. We will advise you if this is the case at the time you withdraw your consent.

How to exercise your rights

You are entitled to exercise the rights described above free from discrimination.

If you want to exercise any of the rights described above, please contact us at hello@entreparents.mc. You can also delete your information directly through the app by navigating to ‘Settings’ and selecting ‘Delete My Account’.

Please note that if you believe that we have not processed your data in a lawful manner or that we have not complied with your requests or your rights, you can submit a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.

REMOVING ENTREPARENTS APP

You can deactivate your account by selecting the “deactivate” link in the app. Deactivating your account lets you remove your profile without permanently deleting it. When you deactivate your account, other users will no longer see your profile or information (but your information is saved in case you want to reactivate your account in future). If you want to delete your information and your account, please contact us (hello@entreparents.mc) with a request to delete your account and information. We will take steps to delete your information as soon as is practicable, however some information may remain in archived/backup copies for our records and as otherwise required by law.

CHANGES AND UPDATES

Any information that is collected is subject to the privacy policy in effect at the time such information is collected. We may, however, modify and revise our privacy policy from time-to-time. If we make any significant changes to this policy, we will notify you of such changes by posting them on the entreparents app or by sending you an email or other notification, and we will indicate when such changes become effective. By continuing to access or use the app after those changes become effective, you are agreeing to be bound by the revised policy.
